Pajama Party - 7/22/09

Tonight we taught rumba footwork in slippers! Our group class was followed by a pajama dance party. Thanks to Xiomara for bringing our "midnight snack" of milk and doughnuts. And thanks to everyone for dressing up. You all looked adorable in your pajamas and slippers!

Cell Block Tango - Shooting the video - 7/8/09

Lauriel and Eduardo came to the studio tonight and made the students movie stars! We shot the music video for The Cell Block Tango, and although it was a lot of work, we sure did have a lot of FUN!!! This is one of the most effective ways to teach choreography, and a great way to remember it forever.

Thanks to our students for their hard work and beautiful dancing, and to Lauriel for jumping in and dancing when one of the students wasn't able to attend!

Student Night Out turns into Student Night In!

Because the dance floor at the New Port Richey Elks' Lodge was recently shellacked, our Student Night Out turned into a Student Night In, and the party was moved to our own dance floor here at Arthur Murray, Palm Harbor. (Thank goodness we have such a big dance floor, because there was a whole lot of ballroom dancing going on!)
